Current Access Issues

It should be noted that if you are planning to boulder at the Shire (or Red Rocks), you are not permitted to walk across the paddock from Red Rocks Rd as the farmer who owns the paddock has requested climbers not do this. Instead, you should access the area via Mt Fox, either walking around along the fire trail that borders the paddock or parking at the end of the fire trail at Red Rocks (if you car is suitable for driving the fire trail, which in places is dry is sandy when dry and boggy after rain).
